Litigation Lawyer — Disputes

Sok Siphana Sethalay, in association with Kinstellar Southeast Asia, is looking for a talented litigation lawyer to join our Disputes Practice Group.

Role Overview

The Litigation Lawyer will take a hands-on role in managing civil and commercial litigation matters, drafting legal submissions, and advising clients across a wide range of dispute resolution proceedings. We are looking for a motivated individual with strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an international team.

Key Responsibilities

🔹 Draft court submissions and legal memoranda in both Khmer and English.

🔹 Translate court submissions and other legal documents between Khmer and English.

🔹 Attend court hearings and represent clients in litigation proceedings.

🔹 Meet with clients in person or online to advise on and manage their matters.

🔹 Independently handle routine civil and commercial litigation cases and manage complex cases under light supervision.

Qualifications and Experience

🔹 Admission to the Cambodian Bar is required.

🔹 Minimum of 3 years of experience in a dispute resolution team at a law firm.

🔹 Track record of independently or lightly supervising more than ten court cases.

🔹 Experience managing client matters in English.

🔹 Master’s degree in law.

🔹 Experience in arbitration is an advantage.

🔹 Proficiency in both spoken and written Khmer and English is required.
